The Vintage Poets is an initiative by Ojasvi Nath, born out of love, loss, and the need to hold on. It’s a love letter to her grandmother, Nargis, the most graceful woman she’s ever known.

Dear Dada,

I still make Kahwa the way you liked it. A little too strong, with just enough saffron to leave that taste you always said reminded you of your home, Kashmir.
Some mornings, I play Kishore Kumar or Hemant Kumar, and for a few minutes, it feels like your world is still here. Those slow, beautiful days filled with music, books, and our philosophical conversations.

You had the most graceful way of being. Refined without ever trying.
You loved good words, thoughtful films, and moments that asked you to pause.
When Amol Palekar or Farukh Sheikh came on screen, you would give that soft smile, and I would watch you more than the movie.

When you left, everything changed.
The world became faster, noisier, and somehow smaller.
I kept looking for you in everything: in a song, in vintage stuff, in the sound of old diary pages turning.

The Vintage Poets is my way of keeping you close.
It’s where I come to talk to you through poems, through stories, through everything that still carries your essence.
It’s my way of living inside your world a little longer, of holding on to the comfort, the love, the grace that you left behind.

Everything here is a piece of you.
Every line is me remembering you.

I hope, wherever you are, there’s music playing, a book by your side, and a cup of Kahwa just the way you like it.

With all my love,
Ojasvi
